067 व्यवहार चलता रहे
मुमुक्षुओं के लिए सौ बात की एक बात-
बड़ी विचित्र बात है, आनन्दस्वरूप दुख में फंस गया, एक अनेक हो गया, अविनाशी मरणधर्मा हो गया, शाश्वत क्षणभंगुर हो गया, ज्ञान स्वरूप अपनाआपा अज्ञान से घिर गया। अब न मालूम कब से, वह दरवाजे रहित गोल कमरे में बंद अंधे की तरह, जन्म मरण के बंंधन में पड़ा भिन्न भिन्न योनियों के चक्कर लगा रहा है।
घोर दुख में डूबे ऐसे किसी को, जब कोटि पुण्यों का फल मिलता है, तब कोई आत्मतत्व का पारखी अनायास ही, उसके जीवन में आता है। अगर वह उस तत्वनिष्ठ महापुरुष का हाथ कस के पकड़ ले, तो तुरंत बाहर हो जाए।
ऐसे समझें जैसे रास्ते में रस्सी पड़ी थी, आपने देखी पर देखी नहीं। देख कर भी नहीं देखी। क्यों? क्योंकि मनुष्य के साथ एक बड़ी परेशानी है।
न तो वह घोर अंधकार से ही ग्रस्त है कि रस्सी ही न दिखती। प्रकाश होता ही न, तो भ्रम कैसे होता? और न ही उसके पास अभी इतना प्रकाश है कि वह रस्सी स्पष्ट ही देख लेता, तब भी उसे सर्प का भ्रम न होता।
प्रकाश है तो, पर मंद है, रस्सी जैसा कुछ दिखता है, पर क्या है यह स्पष्ट नहीं दिखता है। इसीलिए आपको साँप की कल्पना हुई, कल्पना से भय पैदा हुआ, आप काँपने लगे, दुख आ गया। पारखी से भेंट हुई, प्रकाश किया गया, रस्सी दिख गई, साँप रहा ही नहीं, भ्रम दूर हुआ, दुख मिट गया।
लेकिन अब आप सब मुख्य बात पर ध्यान दें- भ्रम तो मिट गया, रस्सी दिखती रहेगी या नहीं? वह तो दिखती रहेगी ही। बस ऐसे ही जीवनमुक्त को संसार में सत्य बुद्धि नहीं रहती, पर व्यवहार जगत तो रहता ही है।
वह तो पहले जैसा ही चलता है। अंतर इतना ही है कि अब वह मोह को प्राप्त नहीं होता। बाहर से तो अब भी वह खाता, पीता, चलता, फिरता, हंसता, बोलता, चेष्टा करता दिखता है, पर भीतर सब बदल गया।
नोट करें, ज्ञान, पदार्थ के स्वरूप को नहीं बदलता, हमारे दृष्टिकोण को ही बदलता है।
तो जब बाह्यदृष्टि से आत्मज्ञानी का ही व्यवहार बंद नहीं होता, तब व्यवहार बंद करने की जो वृथा कोशिश नए साधकों को हो जाती है, वह तो पहली भूल से भी बड़ी भूल है। पकड़ना क्या और छोड़ना क्या? बात समझो और जहाँ हो वहीं खड़े खड़े पार हो जाओ।
लोकेशानन्द कहता है कि व्यवहार को बलात बंद करने का प्रयास करने वाला, विचित्र मूढ़ता में फंस कर कहीं का नहीं रहता।

Putting in the nutshell for seekers-
It is a very strange thing, blissfull got trapped in misery, one became many, indestructible became mortal, eternal became fleeting, knowledge got surrounded by ignorance. It is not known since when, you are trapped in the bond of birth and death, like a blind trapped in a dark round room without a door.
When someone in such deep sorrow gets the results of his deeds, then someone, a connoisseur of self-realization, suddenly enters in his life. If he tightly grabs the hand of that great man, he immediately breaks out of that bond.
Think of it as if there was a rope lying on the way, but you have not seen it. You saw, but didn’t see. Why? Because there is a big problem with humans.
Neither is he obsessed with extreme darkness that the rope does not appear. If there is no light, how would there be confusion? Nor does he have so much light that he could see the rope clearly, then he would not have the illusion of a snake.
The light is there, but it is dim, something is there resembling a rope, but what it is is not clear. That’s why you imagined a snake, imagination aroused fear, you began to tremble, sorrow came. The connoisseur met, the light was arranged, the rope was seen, there was no snake, confusion disappeared, sorrow ended.
But now all of you pay attention to the main thing- Confusion has disappeared, will the rope be visible or not? It will continue to be seen. Just like this, a salvated person does not have confusion in the world, but the world remains.
The world goes on as before. The difference is that now he does not get fascination. Outside he still eats, drinks, walks, laughs, speaks, makes efforts, but inside everything has changed.
Note that knowledge does not change the nature of matter, it changes our perspective.
So when salvation does not stop the behavior of the self-knowledgeer, then the effort of the new seekers to stop the behavior, is the biggest mistake. What to catch and what to leave? Understand the fact and attain salvation wherever you are.
Lokeshanand says that the one who tries to stop the behavior, gets trapped in bizarre stupidity.
