Like a traveler going to the garden, whether I am on the right track or not, is known by the coolness of the wind, the line of distant trees and the birds mingling in the sky. We who walk on Bhagwan’s path, the sign of whether we are walking right or not, is known by the decreasing sorrow, duality, distress, anxiety, tension, unease, rage and peace in life.
Surprisingly, how many people who call themselves religious, devotee, knowledgeable, yogi, seeker, sanyasi tell me that they do not get peace. They do not get tired of saying that I did so much, did that much, did this action, did that means, but did not get peace in life. And they don’t want to believe that they haven’t come to the right path yet, they haven’t even started walking yet.
Dear siblings! After reading four books lying on the chair, demonstrating false knowledge in front of others, one does not get peace. Do you chant? How much do you chant? How much satsang, how much service, how much remembrance? If you want real result then you will have to do real means or not?
Look! Neither there is any value of the body here, nor is there any value of where the body is sitting, nor is the price of what you are doing from the body. What difference does it make to me if my body is on a mountain or in a forest, in a cave or in a hut, in a five-star ashram or on big platforms, on broken planks or on the throne of Shankaracharya?
The precious thing is that where is my mind? Peace is the name of a particular state of mind, not of a body.
I am in the temple, but my mind is in the market, so what is the benefit? It would have been better if I had stayed at home and had my mind in Bhagwan.
Where I am from outside, its price is nothing. What is going on inside me, this is the real thing. Action is not worth brother! There is a price for emotion. With action you can deceive the people of the world, but not Bhagwan.
Lokeshanand says that with full spirit, by holding Bhagwan’s one name and form, one who does a lot of chanting and contemplation, gets peace.
