As soon as the eyelid opens, the eternal sky stands in front of the eyes, just like that when the flame of the contemplation of Mahavakya, burns the petty ego, which binds the soul, then your absolute form becomes visible.
Today the discussion of the remaining two Mahavakyas, “Aham Brahmasmi” and “Tattvamasi”.
3-Aham Brahmasmi (Bridkaranyak Upnishad 1/4/10)-
The one who knows the outer world from the senses and the inner world by the mind, the one who knows everyone, whom nobody knows, that element is being called here by the name ‘Aham’ (I).
Ubiquitous by nature, unconcerned with space and time, which is the ultimate element, that is being called ‘Brahm’. And ‘asmi’ means ‘am’.
I am not an ‘I’ who dies by the weaknesses of the body, or who considers himself a prisoner by the narrow vision of the senses. What I was assuming to be sitting on the seventh sky, that Brahm is not a separate thing from me.
4-Tattvamasi (Chhandogya Upnishad 6/8/7)-
The one who was still living and dying by clinging to the body, now that he is witnessing the body and mind separately, this is ‘Tvam’ (You).
Before creation, which was absolutely pure and even now has no disorder, it is ‘Tat’ (That Brahm). ‘Asi’ means ‘is’.
True seekers should take a divine experience of the confirmed unity of the ‘Tat’ and ‘Tvam’ substances.
Everyone believes himself to be fully virtuous, this is the sleeping ‘Aham Brahmasmi’. The suppressed feeling of this is to be awakened slowly. There is some substance called Brahm other than this soul, this idea is not authentic.
Lokeshanand says that to think of something other than this soul as Brahm is a huge mistake.
